Since we missed our annual week-long June half price sale, we have decided to hold one in July!
For the first week of July (7/1-7/7), all items older than one month will be 50% OFF!
During this particular sale, we *will be* accepting consignments.
Please be aware of our consignment procedures:
1.APPOINTMENT: We will look through your items during your appointment and return any items we cannot accept for sale (up to 15 adult items and/or 25 children's items). You can make an appointment here, but feel free to call us if you're having any trouble.
2. DROP OFF & DONATE DISCARDS: You may drop off up to 15 items during our consigning hours without an appointment. We will look through your items at a later time and donate any items we cannot put out for sale.

Well, it looks like we're ready to take the next step! After two weeks of offering shopping-by-appointment, we're going to be opening the doors for real next week. Starting Monday, June 8, Dirt Chic will be open again for business. We will return to our schedule of Monday – Saturday 10AM-6PM and Sunday 12PM-5PM. And we will resume taking consignments; the process, however, will look a little different.
Consigning by appointment will be much the same. If you have a scheduled appointment, we will look through your items on the spot and enter them into your account. You can bring your bag to the consigning area TO THE LEFT of the counter, which we will sanitize before and after we sort through your clothes (wearing gloves). We will give the items three days to air out before putting them out on the floor. Appointments are available on the hour, Wednesday through Saturday, 11AM to 4PM and Sunday, 1PM to 3PM. You can schedule those on our website: www.dirtchicvt.com.
You can still drop off UP TO 15 ITEMS without an appointment, also during our consigning hours of Wednesday - Saturday, 11AM to 4PM and Sunday, 1PM to 3PM. We will have a separate area set up for this TO THE RIGHT of the counter, where you can fill out a tag with your name and the date and place your items in a reusable bag (that we provide) with your name tag taped to it. We will put these items in a separate area for at least three days and go through them after that. PLEASE DO NOT BRING IN MORE THAN 15 ITEMS. If you do, we will only take the top 15 items from your bag and put them on your account. Please do not bring in a batch of items that cannot easily fit into a reusable grocery bag. We have very limited space for storage, especially as we work to turn a new area of the store into a bridal section.
SMALL BATCH WALK-IN
At the moment, we will not be offering our walk-in consignment option of 5 or fewer items. We are not in a position to comfortably follow health and safety guidelines without limiting the number of daily consignments that we are expected to sort through. We plan to offer this option again in the future, once the scare of COVID-19 is more securely in our rear-view mirror.
We encourage you to come in and do it! We will be wearing face masks and following health and safety guidelines, and ask you to do the same. We hope to see our business return to what it once was, which will allow us to get back on our pre-quarantine feet!
